Nationals have pitchers that could move quickly in 2016

The entire roster of pitchers invited to instructional league are the top prospects in the Nationals organization. The list includes the big names fans are accustomed to: Lucas Giolito, Erick Fedde, Reynaldo Lopez and others.

But if we dig a little deeper and go to the Nationals to ask them who are the possible quick movers, guys that raised eyebrows during the season and the work they did in instructs, the list contains names that many fans may not be as familiar with. This list of prospects "had very productive instructional leagues" as my sources have told me.

"These guys made some really nice adjustments during instructional league and showed the ability to make those adjustments," the club source told me. "Those are the kind of guys that can possibly move a little quicker than most."

Here are some names to keep a watchful eye on for 2016 and beyond, they could make some big moves this season:

6-foot-5, 210 lbs.
Morristown, TN
2015 clubs: GCL, AUB, HAG

Lee was 5-1 with a 1.63 ERA in 16 games for three different teams last season. He recorded 47 strikeouts with only 10 walks.

RHP Ryan Brinley, 22
6-foot-1, 200 lbs.
Georgetown, TX
2015 clubs: GCL, AUB, HAG

The Sam Houston State product went 1-4 with a 1.44 ERA in 21 games. He surrendered five earned runs in 31 1/3 innings with 16 punchouts.

RHP Koda Glover, 22
6-foot-5, 195 lbs.
Monroe, OK
2015 Clubs: AUB, HAG

In 2015, Glover went 1-1 with a 1.80 ERA in 19 appearances. He recorded five saves with 38 strikeouts and only two walks.

RHP Weston Davis, 19
6-foot-3, 185 lbs.
Bradenton, FL
2015 Clubs: none

Davis last pitched for the GCL Nats in 2014. He missed most of 2015 due to injury, on the disabled list from June 21 to September 11.

LHP Taylor Hearn, 24
6-foot-5, 190 lbs.
Allen, TX
2015 Clubs: GCL, AUB

Hearn's hands are so impressive that the tale goes when he shakes your hand, he touches your elbow. Hearn pitched in 12 games in 2015. In 48 innings, he recorded 45 strikeouts.

LHP Tyler Watson, 18
6-foot-5, 200 lbs.
Gilbert, AZ
2015 Club: GCL

The 34th-round selection pitched in five games for the GCL Nats and went 1-1 with a 0.00 ERA. How do you lose a game without allowing an earned run? He lost an August 17 game when surrendered one run, unearned, in a 6-1 setback to the GCL Cardinals. He has totaled 16 strikeouts and four walks.

LHP McKenzie Mills, 20
6-foot-4, 205 lbs.
Marietta, GA
2015 Club: GCL, AUB

Mills appeared in 12 games in 2015 for a pair of teams, working 34 2/3 innings.
