The Orioles are in first place in the American League East. The Nationals are a half-game out of first in the National League East.
It's always cool when these two neighbors square off, but it's a heck of a lot more fun when the teams are playing well and are in contention.
The Nats will send Stephen Strasburg to the hill, while the O's will go to right-hander Chris Tillman.
Manager Matt Williams is going to the same lineup 1-8 that he has for five of the six games that Bryce Harper has been back off the DL.

Update: Right fielder Jayson Werth has been named the National League Player of the Week. Werth hit .450 (9-for-20) with five doubles, two home runs, nine RBIs, five walks and seven runs scored.
Werth had at least one RBI in five straight games and helped the Nats to a 5-1 record last week. He drove in a game-high three RBIs last Tuesday in the Nats' 7-1 win over the Rockies.
This is the third time Werth has won Player of the Week honors, but first as a member of the Nationals.
