Neshek reassigned, Miller outrighted

SARASOTA, Fla. - The Orioles made two more roster cuts today, reassigning reliever Pat Neshek to minor league camp and outrighting outfielder Jai Miller to Triple-A Norfolk after he cleared waivers. The Orioles have 27 active players in camp. Relievers Darren O'Day, Zach Phillips and Troy Patton, and starter Tsuyoshi Wada are vying for the last two spots. The Orioles have 38 players on the 40-man roster, which leaves room for Nick Johnson and Ronny Paulino. Manager Buck Showalter has delayed his post-game session with the media. The club is deciding what to do with Wada. The Orioles lost to the State College of Florida, 2-1, in a game that lasted only eight inning and didn't include any Manatees pitchers.
