The Orioles-Nationals game that was postponed last night in D.C. has been rescheduled for Aug. 4 at 7:05 p.m. The Nats confirmed the time in a tweet. The Orioles will board a flight to Toronto after the game. I've talked to a few people in the organization who say there's no interest in catcher A.J. Pierzynski, who's been designated for assignment by the Red Sox. Bud Norris is back on the mound for the Orioles tonight after coming off the disabled list yesterday. He hasn't pitched since June 21. What does it mean to have Norris back in the rotation? "I don't know. We'll see," said manager Buck Showalter. "He was pitching as good as anybody we had at the time that he got hurt. There's a little process he'll go through. I'm a little disappointed with the schedule. I was really hoping to get him on the mound twice for his sake before the break, which we still could do. If he gets shortened up a little bit tonight, we could bring him back on three (days rest) and get him an inning or two on Sunday. Hopefully, we don't have that issue." The Orioles have listed Miguel Gonzalez, Ubaldo Jimenez and Chris Tillman as their starters for the series against the Yankees at Camden Yards that leads into the All-Star break. Hiroki Kuroda and Shane Greene are scheduled to start the first two games for the Yankees. The Orioles still could option a starter before the Yankees series and bring up an extra reliever. "We've done it in the past, where we've moved a reliever in just to make sure we're covered. But I think we're letting the games kind of dictate after each game where we are. We always sit down and kind of evaluate where we are and what our needs are and who we need to completely stay away from.
