Ondrusek has sore elbow, Machado playing third base today

SARASOTA, Fla. - Orioles reliever Logan Ondrusek is day-to-day with elbow soreness, according to manager Buck Showalter.

Ondrusek has been scratched from Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays in Sarasota. He served up a two-run homer yesterday in the ninth inning in Lakeland.

Shortstop J.J. Hardy has amped up his workouts on the back fields. He legged out a "triple" this morning in one drill.

Chris Tillman and Zach Britton remain scheduled to throw bullpen sessions Wednesday morning.

Manny Machado is playing third base today for the Dominican Republic, with José Reyes starting at shortstop. Machado is batting second and catcher Welington Castillo is ninth.
