SARASOTA, Fla. - Orioles manager Buck Showalter still hasn't posted his lineup for today's 1:05 p.m. game against the Rays at Ed Smith Stadium. Tampa Bay left-hander David Price has been scratched from his start here and will throw a simulated game back in Port Charlotte. The threat of rain has caused manager Joe Maddon to adjust the pitching schedule. Left-hander Braulio Lara will start for the Rays if the game isn't cancelled. The ball deflected off his glove. "I didn't really know because I didn't see it," Britton said with a smile. Britton said the area is a little sore, but there's no bruise. "I got lucky. If he had squared me up, that probably would have done some damage, but thankfully I was able to get out of the way a little bit," he said. "Just a little sore, but if anything, it felt like if you sleep on your arm wrong and it goes numb. It felt like that. That's probably the hardest comebacker I've ever had hit at me. I was just hoping everything was OK at the time. I couldn't really feel it. It was numb. But any time you get a ball hit back at you, it definitely startles you." Britton's brother, Buck, caused some confusion during last night's game after wearing a No. 90 jersey. The Orioles didn't list him or the number on their travel roster, and the PA announcer at Hammond Stadium couldn't introduce Buck when he came to the plate late in the game. "My mom was watching and I was talking to her on the phone when I was driving back and she said, 'Yep, they have no idea who your brother is right now,'" Zach said. "I said to him, 'I heard you got a ton of TV time because they were trying to figure out who you were.'" Brian Matusz will leave camp next Thursday and fly to Philadelphia to have a wart removed from the middle finger of his left hand. He will return to camp that night. Matusz will pitch Friday afternoon against the Phillies, following Ubaldo Jimenez to the mound, and again next Wednesday. Infielder Alexi Casilla will have a full workout today, weather permitting, and run sprints later to test his right hamstring. He hopes to play in his first exhibition game on Sunday "if nothing bad happens." "For sure, I'll run faster tomorrow," he said. Update: Today's game has been canceled due to rain.
