Reimold leaves game with tight hamstring (O's lose 4-3)

Nolan Reimold grounded into a double play today to end the bottom of the sixth inning, and he didn't take the field for the top of the seventh. The Orioles announced that Reimold was removed from the game with right hamstring tightness. He will be re-evaluated on Monday. Reimold was bothered by a sore right shoulder in spring training, but didn't have any hamstring issues. He's 1-for-3 with a run scored today and 4-for-17 this season. Nate McLouth replaced Reimold in left field. Meanwhile, Jason Hammel gave up two runs in the top of the seventh inning, and the Orioles trail the Minnesota Twins 4-3. Hammel allowed four runs and four hits in 6 2/3 innings, with three walks, three strikeouts and two hit batters. He threw 88 pitches, 51 for strikes. Hammel hit Trevor Plouffe to begin the inning, and Wilkin Ramirez singled into left field. Both runners moved up on a sacrifice bunt, and pinch hitter Chris Parmelee lifted a sacrifice fly to right field to tie the game. Aaron Hicks, 1-for-25 as he strolled to the plate, singled to give Minnesota the lead. Brian Matusz replaced Hammel and struck out Joe Mauer. Hammel has allowed seven runs and seven hits in 12 2/3 innings in his two starts. Adam Jones has two more hits today and is 14-for-25. Today's attendance: 34,431. The three-game series drew 121,788. Update: Nate McLouth and pinch hitter Matt Wieters struck out in the ninth, and Alexi Casilla bounced out to end the game and leave the Orioles on the short end of a 4-3 score. Casilla must have thought the ball was foul, because he was late getting out of the box. Another one-run loss! The Orioles lost two of three to the Twins and are 3-3 as they hit the road again.
