The reason Reimold is out of the lineup (Wada update)

CHICAGO - Nolan Reimold was supposed to start in left field today, but he's bothered by neck spasms. Reimold began experiencing the spasms yesterday. They subsided before the game, but returned this morning.
Buck Showalter explains the exclusion of Nolan Reimold from the lineup to the media

"He had it a little bit yesterday before the game but they got it out of there," manager Buck Showalter said. "It stiffened up on him late in the ballgame, and he got it treated after the game. He came in today and it's still bothering him. "That's your lineup answer." Also, Tsuyoshi Wada gave up three runs and four hits, with a walk, in the first inning today for Triple-A Norfolk. He threw 35 pitches. Wada retired Gwinnett in order in the second inning. Executive vice president Dan Duquette is attending the game. Second baseman Brian Roberts plans on accompanying the team to Anaheim later today. Update: It's been a rough rehab start for Wada, who walked the leadoff hitter in the third inning and gave up a two-run homer to Gwinnett's Ernesto Mejia. Wada has allowed five runs and five hits, with two walks, in 2 1/3 innings.
