His eight-game losing streak was the second longest in the AL behind Berken's nine-game streak that also ended last Friday. Right-handed batters hit .320 off Berken and lefties hit .319. In eight road starts, he is 2-4, 5.44. The A's are 4-9 in his 13 previous starts. He was part of a three-pitcher shutout of the Orioles on June 7th at Oakland.
