Tonight's pitchers: Guthrie vs. Richmond

RHP Jeremy Guthrie (10-15, 5.05) tonight will make his 31st start of this season, his 15th on the road and the 10th in his career vs. Toronto. Over his last five starts, he is 0-3, 10.88 (27ER in 22 1/3IP). The Canadian native is winless, 0-6, over his last nine starts, since beating the Reds on June 24th. Richmond is the 6th Canadian native to pitch for the Blue Jays. He pitched for Canada in the 2009 World Baseball Classic. Richmond is 4th in the AL in opponents swinging at the first pitch.
