Jordan-Zimmermann-no-hitter-arms-out.jpgThis week, we are airing two "Nationals Classics" from last season, including Jordan Zimmermann's no-hitter and yet another Ryan Zimmerman game-winning home run. Here's what's on deck this week: Monday, Dec. 15, 7 p.m.: On the last day of the 2014 regular season, Zimmermann pitched the first no-hitter in Nationals history. Zimmermann issued just one walk and outfielder Steven Souza Jr. kept history intact my making an outrageous leaping grab to secure the milestone. Ian Desmond hit a solo home run as the Nats won 1-0. Tuesday, Dec. 16, 11 a.m.: On June 24, the Nats were trailing 2-1 in eighth inning of a game against the Brewers. Then Anthony Rendon knotted the score with a solo home run. Little did the Nats and Brewers know, they would play eight more innings before Zimmerman hit a game-winning two-run home run in the top of the 16th inning. The Nats defeated the Brewers 4-2.
