What is your take on the Jim Johnson trade?

The early reaction to tonight's trade via my Twitter account has not been real positive, but feel free to add your two cents here as well. Those that wanted Jim Johnson gone got their wish tonight, as the Orioles traded him to the Oakland A's for infielder Jemile Weeks, which was first reported by Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com. The Orioles also get a player to be named later. Weeks had a slash line of .282/.375/.402 in 361 minor league games and has a line of .258/.319/.677 in 223 major league games. He was the 12th overall selection in the 2008 First-Year Player Draft out of the University of Miami. He is a 26-year-old switch-hitter with just 1.142 years of service time. He will not even be arbitration-eligible until after the 2015 season. Weeks hit .303 in 97 games with Oakland at age 24 in 2011, but this past season got into just nine major league games, going 1-for-9. He spent most of his year at Triple-A Sacramento batting .271 with four homers and 40 RBIs. What does this mean for the second base position next year? Is Weeks definitely the starter and what does this mean for Brian Roberts? I don't think we have all the answers yet on those questions tonight. Many of you wrote here in the last few weeks saying the Orioles could not carry a closer making $10 million. It appears that Dan Duquette agrees with you. Johnson blew nine saves in 2013 and drew the wrath of some fans that will probably not be sorry to see him go. But he also is one of just two pitchers in MLB history with back-to-back 50-save seasons (the other is Eric Gagne). Those of you that wanted a big move got it tonight. What is your take on this deal?
