Which Nationals hitters deserve to be voted into the starting lineup for the All-Star Game at Citi Field on Tuesday, July 16? Maybe you favor youth, and figure left fielder Bryce Harper, all of 20, should be starting after making it as a 19-year-old reserve last year. Or you think first baseman Adam LaRoche and his Gold Glove defense can help the National League win the Midsummer Classic. Or you just want right fielder Jayson Werth and his scruffy beard standing on the base line for pregame introductions. Whatever your reason, whichever player you like most, the choice is in your hands - well, your mouse-clicking or phone-dialing fingers. Online voting is under way here, and in-stadium voting began last night at Nationals Park. If you can't make it to South Capitol Street, you can cast your ballot here. Fans can vote online or via their mobile device up to 25 times (after you vote, you can unlock the mystery to a one-time 10-ballot bonus). You can vote through 11:59 p.m. eastern time on July 4. Voting at Nationals Park continues during home games through June 25. Harper, LaRoche and Werth are joined on the ballot by shortstop Ian Desmond, second baseman Danny Espinosa, catcher Wilson Ramos, center fielder Denard Span and third baseman Ryan Zimmerman. If your favorite hitter isn't listed, you can write him in. (Don't be looking to vote for pitchers, since they are chosen by manager Bruce Bochy in conjunction with the National League.) Starters will be unveiled on TBS on Sunday, July 7. That same day, fans will learn which players and pitchers are vying for the last position on the NL team via The Final Vote.
