Recap: Nationals starter Taylor Jordan allowed two runs, one earned, on one hit with three walks in four innings today. Nats third baseman Ian Stewart doubled in the second inning and scored the game's first run shortly after on an errant throw. The Nats picked up their second run when second baseman Dan Uggla doubled in the third inning. First baseman Ryan Zimmerman singled in Uggla.

Need to know: Right-hander Drew Storen left the game with the Nationals' trainer after pitching just two-thirds of the sixth inning. The Nationals traded lefty reliever Jerry Blevins for Mets outfielder Matt den Dekker today.

JUPITER, Fla. - The Nationals struck first when starting pitcher Taylor Jordan's infield single scored third baseman Ian Stewart in the second. An inning later, second baseman Dan Uggla doubled and first baseman Ryan Zimmerman drive him home with a single.

The Cardinals scored two runs off Jordan on three walks and an error by shortstop Danny Espinosa.

Reliever Xavier Cedeno allowed two more runs on two hits and a walk in the fifth.

Right-hander Drew Storen came on to pitch in the sixth, but left the game with the Nats trainer after pitching just two-thirds of the inning.

The Cardinals lead the Nats 6-2 in the seventh.
