It's a good thing All-Star voting continues until July 3.
Why? The Nationals are barley visible in the most recently released All-Star balloting figures.
In the most recent results, Bryce Harper is the only Nats player with a shot at being in the National League's starting All-Star lineup, and it's not looking promising.
Harper sits in 15th place among NL outfielders with 314,860 votes, which is understandable considering he has only played in 22 games this season due to surgery to repair a torn ligament in his left thumb.
Harper dropped from No. 12 in the last week's balloting, and was hitting .289/.352/.422 before his injury.
The Las Vegas native does have a chance to appear in the 2014 Home Run Derby, as he is one of 10 candidates eligible to be selected by fans. Harper made it to the final round last year, but narrowly lost to the A's Yoenis Cespedes.
Anthony Rendon was No. 4 in the first balloting figures among NL second basemen, but has since been overtaken by the Pirates' Neil Walker (365,050 votes) and the Mets' Daniel Murphy (298,611) and is no longer among the top five.
Voters will also have the opportunity to elect their favorite starting players up to 25 times at MLB.com until Thursday, July 3 at 11:59 p.m. The 2014 MLB All-Star Game Selection Show will be held during the weekend of July 5-6, and the game will be played on July 15 at Target Field in Minneapolis.
