MASN to air six Nats exhibition games

Even if your boss, significant other or parental unit won't allow you to make a trip down to Viera, Fla., to see a few Nationals spring training games in person, you'll have a chance to catch a number of Nats exhibition games on the small screen. I know, I know. It's not anywhere near the same thing, but for those of you starved for baseball, I'm sure it'll do. MASN HD will be airing six exhibition games this spring, five of which will take place at Space Coast Stadium in Viera. The TV schedule starts with a Feb. 28 contest with the division rival New York Mets, which will air at 6 p.m. That will be followed by a National League Division Series rematch with the St. Louis Cardinals, airing at 1 p.m. on March 8. A little bit of advice for any Nats pitchers taking the mound that day: Don't pitch to Pete Kozma or Daniel Descalso. MASN HD will also air a March 16 game against Bo Porter's Houston Astros at 6 p.m.; a March 22 game against the defending American League champion Tigers at 1 p.m.; a March 24 game against the Atlanta Braves at 1 p.m.; and the March 29 exhibition against the New York Yankees at Nats Park at 2 p.m. All of the afternoon games will be replayed that same night at 7 p.m., allowing those of you without creative excuses or TVs at the office to catch the action once you get back to the sofa at home. Bob Carpenter and F.P. Santangelo will be back providing the play-by-play and color commentary, respectively. I'll also have full coverage for all the games, as always, here on MASNsports.com.
