Moore back in Nats lineup, Strasburg on the hill

For the first time since last Sunday, Tyler Moore is back in the Nationals' lineup, batting seventh and playing left field. Moore hasn't touched the field since starting the Nats' series-ending rout of the Orioles. Moore has been with the Nationals since being called up April 29, but has been seldom used. Today marks just his fifth start and 12th appearance overall. The 25-year-old utility man has struggled at the plate in his limited chances, batting .176 (3-for-17) with no walks, no extra-base hits, no RBIs and six strikeouts during his first stint in the majors. With Triple-A Syracuse, Moore hit .286 with seven homers, three doubles, 10 runs and 20 RBIs over his first 22 games this season, leading to his first call to the bigs. Today, he gets another opportunity to break out of that early funk against the Atlanta Braves. Looking to take the series from Atlanta and win for the fifth time in six games, the Nats have Stephen Strasburg on the mound for the first time since Sunday, when he lasted just five innings against the O's because of arm soreness. Strasburg is an impressive 4-1 with a 2.21 ERA, but 12 runs (nine earned) have scored against the Nats with him in the game over his last four starts. He surrendered just four runs over his first five starts of 2012. Here's today's lineups. First pitch is scheduled for 4:05 p.m. For the Nationals: Danny Espinosa 2B Bryce Harper CF Ryan Zimmerman 3B Adam LaRoche 1B Ian Desmond SS Xavier Nady RF Tyler Moore LF Jesus Flores C Stephen Strasburg RHP For the Braves: Michael Bourn CF Tyler Pastornicky SS Martin Prado LF Dan Uggla 2B Freddie Freeman 1B Jason Heyward RF Juan Francisco 3B J.C.
