Nationals announce 2015 promotional schedule

Following today's completion of the "10 Days of Teddy" and the reveal of the final promotional item, the Washington Nationals released the 2015 season promotional schedule. The 2015 season marks the 10-Year Anniversary of the Nationals arrival in Washington, D.C. and a number of special promotional items to commemorate this season will be distributed at select games.

Initiatives include monthly 10-Year Tuesdays, six designated games that will feature special guests, pregame ceremonies and a collectible keepsake for the first 10,000 fans who enter Nationals Park. The six giveaway items will all fit inside the Commemorative Collectors Tin, to be distributed to the first 25,000 fans on Opening Day. The season will also feature Great Moments in Nationals History bobbleheads featuring Livan Hernandez, Ryan Zimmerman, Stephen Strasburg, Jayson Werth and Jordan Zimmermann. Additional promotional items include a garden gnome in the likeness of Anthony Rendon, a Jayson Werth Chia Pet, nesting doll set and gloves. Each promotional item will be given out to fans entering Nationals Park through all gates. Fans can check out nationals.com/promotions for updates as items are added. The season will include a variety of theme games for fans at the ballpark, including a 10th Anniversary Day featuring Frank Robinson, '80s Night, Star Wars Day, Pet Day and a College Rivalry Day featuring the University of Virginia vs. Virginia Tech. There will be six Pups in the Park events, 13 Signature Sundays and Kids Run the Bases, a Sunday when Kids Run the Show presented by The Washington Post and a Saturday when Seniors Stroll the Bases. In addition, the month of September will feature promotions to celebrate Fan Appreciation Month.

Single game tickets for the 2015 season will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, February 19 at 10:00 a.m. Tickets may be purchased online at nationals.com by calling 888.632.NATS(6287) or by visiting the Nationals Park Main Box Office* at Half and N Streets, SE.

On Wednesday, February 18 at 10:00 a.m., 2015 Season Plan Holders will have the opportunity to purchase single game tickets before they go on sale to the public through an exclusive presale. Season Plan Holders will receive details next week for the presale. Fans who register to become Season Plan Holders at nationals.com any time before February 18 at 10:00 a.m. will be able to take part in the presale.
