Red October: Let's play another!

The Nationals won yesterday, meaning we - Bobby and Olivia - are still enjoying the West Coast! We're about to head back to AT&T Park for Game 4 of the National League Division Series. We'll be updating you on everything leading up to and during the game, so stay tuned!

5:04 p.m. - Bobby - Well, after walking around earlier this afternoon, it's time to get back to baseball. AT&T Park is filling up, and the teams just finished their batting practices. As we look forward to tonight's game, what do the Nats need to do to secure a curly W and bring this series back to D.C. for Game 5?

6:35 p.m. - Olivia - One of my favorite aspects of this park is the fact that it is right up against the water. Look one way, and you've got a view of an amazing ballpark. Look the other way, and you've got the water. It's a win-win.

7:10 p.m. - Bobby - So that Anthony Rendon foul ball in the fourth inning came right at me in the press box. I could've caught it, but my glove is back in D.C. Maybe I can borrow that big one they have in left field here at AT&T Park since it doesn't seem to be in use?

7:22 p.m. - Olivia - Glad my coworker's OK! The press box is VERY low here, especially compared to the sky-high one at Nats Park. We're practically sitting on top of fans, which is really cool and a nice change of pace.

9:39 p.m. - Bobby - Heartbreaking. That's the only word I can use to describe the end of this Nationals' season. When Bryce Harper hit that monsterous homer into McCovey Cove, it seemed like the Nats were going to somehow pull this one out and head back to D.C. for Game 5. However, some critical errors cost them and eventually sent them home for good. I think one thing is clear: Postseason experience is important. Hopefully, losing in the NLDS two out of the past three years will give this team some of that for the future. I'm already looking forward to next year, and as always, I back the Nats.
