Rendon starts at third as Escobar sits (with lineups)

Yunel Escobar is out of the lineup tonight after injuring his right wrist during a checked swing in his first at-bat in last night's 2-1 loss to the Cubs. X-rays were negative for Escobar, who was due for further evaluations today at Nationals Park.

Rendon will hit cleanup for the Nationals tonight, while first baseman Ryan Zimmerman slides into the two-hole, with Bryce Harper batting third.

Tanner Roark is set to make his third start of the season and second in the last two weeks against the Cubs. On May 25, Roark held Chicago to one run on three hits in five innings to pick up the win. He owns a 2.45 ERA in his two previous starts this year.
