Nationals fans can purchase Raffle tickets to benefit the Washington Nationals Dream Foundation cornerstone programs
The Washington Nationals Dream Foundation announced today that it will begin the new 50/50 Raffle during the Nationals final regular season homestand. Through the 50/50 Raffle, fans will have a chance to win large cash prizes while supporting the Dream Foundation's cornerstone programs. The Raffle tickets will be sold Tuesday, September 23 through Saturday, September 27, and go on sale when gates open until the end of the sixth inning.
"The Foundation is very pleased to bring the 50/50 Raffle to Nationals Park," said Marla Lerner Tanenbaum, Chair of the Washington Nationals Dream Foundation. "It will offer our fans the opportunity to win big while supporting our Youth Baseball Academy and other Dream Foundation community initiatives."
All ticket sales are cash only and prices are as follows: three numbers for $5; 10 numbers for $10; and 30 numbers for $20. The 50/50 kiosks are located on the Main Concourse behind Sections 108 and 138 and on the Gallery Level behind Section 311. Roving uniformed sellers in logoed neon green aprons will move throughout Nationals Park as well. Due to the doubleheader on Friday, September 26, raffle tickets will only be available for the 7:05 p.m. game.
The continuously updated jackpot amount will appear on 50/50 Raffle kiosk monitors and on the out-of-town scoreboard and bullpen scoreboards at Nationals Park. The winning ticket number will be posted on the main scoreboard in the middle of the eighth inning. Prizes may be claimed immediately or at an arranged later date, and participants need not be present during the drawing to win. Visit nationals.com/5050 for more information.
