Weekly Wrap: Nats continue offseason success in Florida

The Winter Meetings have come and gone. Our Dan Kolko and Pete Kerzel chased rumors and news around the Swan and Dolphin Resort, and the Nats returned from Florida with left-handed reliever Jerry Blevins and a signed Nate McLouth contract. Add this to the Doug Fister trade earlier in the offseason, and the Nats have had a very successful offseason, one that Buster Olney calls the best in the majors. To make room for McLouth on the 40-man roster, Corey Brown was designated for assignment. This week, the Nats also lost Adrian Nieto to the White Sox in the Rule 5 draft. For a full recap of all the news and rumors from the Winter Meetings, check out Kolko and Kerzel's blogs. In addition, Kolko and the MASN crew brought you video content every day from Florida, including exclusive interviews with Mike Rizzo and Matt Williams' press conference. Be sure to check out the media lounge to get completely caught up on all of the Nats news that came out of this year's Winter Meetings.
