Zimmerman still missing from Nats lineup, but Espinosa returns (updated)

Ryan Zimmerman's sore left hamstring remains an issue, and the third baseman is again out of the lineup for today's 3:05 p.m. game against the Mets at Citi Field. The game will air nationally on FOX. Zimmerman has not played since being removed from Wednesday's game against the Marlins in Miami, and Chad Tracy is again at third base in his place today. The Nationals, however, get second baseman Danny Espinosa back for today's game. Espinosa missed four games after being struck in the right hand by a Paul Maholm pitch against the Braves on Sunday. Here's today's Nationals lineup that will face Mets right-hander Jeremy Hefner, who totes a 7.20 ERA into the game. That might bode well for the struggling Nats bats. For the Nationals: CF Denard Span RF Jayson Werth LF Bryce Harper 1B Adam LaRoche SS Ian Desmond 3B Chad Tracy 2B Danny Espinosa C Kurt Suzuki LHP Gio Gonzalez For the Mets: SS Justin Turner 2B Daniel Murphy 3B David Wright C John Buck 1B Ike Davis RF Marlin Byrd LF Lucas Duda CF Collin Cowgill RHP Jeremy Hefner Update: Zimmerman underwent an MRI on his injured hamstring this morning, and the Nationals are awaiting results. Manager Davey Johnson told reporters in New York that he doesn't think Zimmerman will have to go on the disabled list.
