Andino talks about his game-winning hit against Boston

Just a few minutes after his game-ending and season-ending RBI single gave the Orioles a walk-off win over the Boston Red Sox tonight, Robert Andino said he enjoyed handing the Red Sox such a crushing loss. "To end the season like this and make Boston go home sad and crying, I'll take it all day. I've got no words for it. You saw Boston's faces," he said.

After Chris Davis doubled off Jonathan Papelbon with two outs, Nolan Reimold's double tied the game 3-3 and set the stage for Andino's huge hit, the single to left that won the game. "Every player wants a walk-off. This is priceless man, you've got no words for it. Just enjoy it. Their ain't no tomorrow, so next year." Andino talked about the Orioles' solid play down the stretch as they won 11 of their last 16 games and went 22-16 over the final 38 games. "I think we got in a more relaxed stage toward the end of the season. Just don't put pressure on yourself, go out and have fun. This is a blessing. I wasn't expecting to play this much this year. Buck, he's the one that believed in me and put me out there," Andino said.
