The Orioles really need J.J. Hardy's CT scan on his left ankle to come back clean, and Chris Davis' MRI on his right shoulder to bring the same positive result.
It wouldn't matter who was pitching for the opposition, but consider that Hardy is 2-for-3 with two homers and three RBIs lifetime against Blue Jays starter Brandon Morrow, and Davis is 2-for-4 with a double, home run and two RBIs.
Small sample sizes, but you should want them facing Morrow tonight.
Nick Markakis is 4-for-10 with two doubles against Morrow. Nolan Reimold is 2-for-3 with a homer and three RBIs. Matt Wieters is 2-for-6 with a homer, two RBIs and three walks.
Morrow has won six of his last seven decisions, and he's allowed three earned runs or fewer in 13 of 19 games.
Chris Tillman is 0-2 with a 5.01 ERA in four career starts against Toronto, with 13 runs, 20 hits, nine walks, 15 strikeouts and seven homers in 23 1/3 innings.
Jose Bautista is 4-for-7 with a double, two homers and three RBIs lifetime against Tillman. Aaron Hill and Adam Lind are both 2-for-11, but Hill has a double and home run.
Update: Hardy and Davis aren't in tonight's lineup.
