Bird Bath expanded to cover two sections, Orioles share promotional schedule for 2025

The Orioles announced earlier today that the splash zone is expanding as part of the left field renovations. Construction already has started.

More home runs could lead to more saturated fans.

The Bird Bath will extend past section 86 and into section 84 and again will feature guest splashers. Past participants include owner David Rubenstein, Gov. Wes Moore, Hall of Famer Cal Ripken Jr., Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Joan Jett, and former Orioles Adam Jones and Ben McDonald.

The club already had revealed that a platform would be built for Mr. Splash.

The Bird Bath debuted on May 12, 2023 after players invented a water theme to celebrate, including human “sprinklers,” homer hoses and hydration stations, and spitting water onto the field from the dugout railing.

* Single-game tickets for the 2025 season will go on sale to the general public on Jan. 16 at 10 a.m. Tickets will be available at Orioles.com/tickets.

The Orioles’ promotional schedule includes six bobbleheads, multiple t-shirt nights, an Orioles Bowling Shirt, Yacht Rock Cap, Cowboy Hat, Birdland Hawaiian Shirt, and the first-ever Star Wars Weekend.

The bobbleheads will feature Rubenstein on April 19, Colton Cowser on May 2 and Gunnar Henderson on May 4 as part of Star Wars Weekend, Grayson Rodriguez on May 31, Jordan Westburg on July 28 and Adley Rutschman on Sept. 24.

The Hawaiian shirt will be featured twice for the first time – on July 8 and 12.

The Pride Jersey will be distributed on June 25, the Floppy Hat on July 25, and a Replica Jersey featuring Hall of Famer Jim Palmer on Aug. 23.

Among the new giveaways are a Clear Stadium Bag (April 11), Hockey Jersey (April 18), Bowling Shirt (May 30), Straw Hat (June 15), Yacht Rock Cap (July 10), Corduroy Cap (Aug. 10), Cowboy Hat (Aug. 22) and Knit Beanie (Sept. 23).

Returning events include Kids’ Opening Day (April 13), Star Wars Weekend (May 2-4), Youth Baseball and Softball Day (May 18), LGBTQ+ Pride Night (June 25), Country Night (Aug. 22), and Fan Appreciation Week (Sept. 23-25).

The Orioles also say that their ticket promotions include $15 Eutaw Street Bleacher Seats, Kids Cheer Free, the Upper Deck Bundle and the All-Inclusive Picnic Perch. All ticket promotions will be available to purchase beginning Jan. 16 while supplies last.

Birdland Members will have online access to single game tickets beginning Thursday at 10 a.m.
