Alfredo Simon allowed a leadoff double in the second inning, but he retired the next three batters, getting a called third strike on Tim Pahuta. Simon has allowed one run and three hits, and struck out four, over two innings. The game is tied, 1-1, after Robbie Widlansky's RBI double in the bottom of the first.
