Information on spring training report dates and home games

The Orioles have announced their spring training report dates and released the home portion of their Grapefruit League schedule.

Pitchers and catchers must report to the Ed Smith Stadium complex in Sarasota by Feb. 13, though they routinely arrive earlier. The full-squad report date is set for Feb. 18.

Ten different teams will provide the opposition on the 16-game home schedule, beginning with the Rays on Feb. 23 at 1:05 p.m. The Orioles finish the Sarasota portion with a March 24 game versus the Twins at 6:05 p.m.

The Rays make three trips to Sarasota; the Red Sox, Twins, Pirates and Blue Jays two each; and the Tigers, Mets, Yankees, Phillies and Cardinals one apiece.

The Orioles will play four night games at Ed Smith Stadium, including Feb. 24 against the Twins, March 11 against the Phillies and March 20 against the Rays.

Single game tickets go on sale Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, at 10 a.m. Fans interested in season plans or anyone wishing to receive additional information should call the spring training office at 941-893-6300. Fans interested in suite rentals or pregame party facilities should call 941-893-6317.

The 2018 season will mark the Orioles' ninth consecutive spring training in Sarasota and the eighth at renovated Ed Smith Stadium since they left Fort Lauderdale.

Here's the complete home schedule, with the road portion added at a later date. The Tigers' schedule includes a March 19 game against the Orioles in Lakeland:
