It's Hammel against Zimmermann on the mound tonight at the Yard

Ryan Zimmerman is 7-for-17 with a homer against him. Roger Bernadina is 4-for-7 with two RBIs. Jordan Zimmermann is 3-5 with a 2.92 ERA in 13 starts for the Nationals and gets the ball tonight. He has walked just 16 with 62 strikeouts over 83 1/3 innings. With runners in scoring position, he gives up a batting average of just .118 this year (8-for-68). He has recorded three consecutive quality starts, giving up seven earned runs over 19 innings, and has recorded an impressive percentage of 11 quality starts in 13 outings in 2012.
