As long as I referenced the farm, Brandon Waring homered and drove in five runs in Game 1 of Double-A Bowie's doubleheader in Portland, Maine. The Baysox won, 10-7. Waring collected three hits to raise his average to .188. He has eight home runs. Mike Ballard allowed seven runs and seven hits in five innings. Steve Johnson will start Game 2. He didn't miss a turn after being hit on the right forearm during his last start.
