Jimenez will pitch in relief (O's lose 7-2)

CHICAGO - For the second time in his major league career, Ubaldo Jimenez will be used as a reliever.
Jimenez is warming up for the Orioles, who trail the Cubs 4-2 in the top of the third inning at Wrigley Field.
Right-hander Justin Grimm will pitch for the Cubs.
The game is scheduled to resume at 5:30 p.m. central time following a rain delay that will exceed three hours.
Jimenez hasn't pitched in relief since making his major league debut on Sept. 26, 2006 against the Dodgers. He allowed two hits in a scoreless eighth inning.
I'll save you the math. That's 231 starts for Jimenez in between relief appearances.
Jimenez was sent to the bullpen after going 4-9 with a 4.83 ERA in 20 starts. He continues to lead the American League with 66 walks.
Bud Norris goes two innings today in his shortest outing of the season. He allowed four runs and four hits - all in the second - with one walk and four strikeouts.
Norris threw 58 pitches, 38 strikes. He gave up a two-out, three-run double to Chris Coghlan, who was 0-for-15 with six strikeouts against him. Norris also had an RBI single in the second inning.

The Cubs scored in the sixth on a two-out single by Chris Valaika. Jimenez issued his only walk to start the inning.
