Mickolio is 100 percent (plus FanFest attendance note)

Reliever Kam Mickolio who was bothered by an inflammed bicep tendon late last year, says he is now 100 percent. "I got it checked here Friday by our trainers and everything checked out 100 percent. They said they were impressed with the range of motion and strength. Everything is looking up right now. "I've been throwing for a couple of weeks now. At first, you just get the cobwebs out, now it's feeling probably better than it's ever felt, I'm real happy about it." Mickolio rested right after the season was over, then got some therapy in Norfolk, Virginia where he has spent this winter. He says now he is right on schedule for the start of spring training and doesn't expect to be limited at all when camp starts. With Mike Gonzalez and Jim Johnson covering the 8th and 9th innings, Mickolio could be a power arm the O's can use in the seventh frame. "I was kind of working into that role last year. It felt like a good fit. I'll pitch wherever they need me to." O's officials report that 12,000 fans are at today's event.
