O's game blog: It's Jimenez against Hutchison tonight at Camden Yards

Over the last four games, the Orioles pitching staff has allowed zero, one, zero and two runs. That's three runs over the last four games for an ERA of 0.75 to lead the majors in that time. Can Ubaldo Jimenez keep that run going tonight? The right-hander is 2-7 with an ERA of 5.01 in 13 starts. The Orioles are 3-10 in those games, losing five of his last six starts. Jimenez lasted just 2 1/3 innings Sunday, giving up six runs and five walks against Oakland. He has given up five runs or more in three of his past five starts, with an ERA of 7.04 and 18 walks in 23 innings. He is 0-5 with an ERA of 7.04 in six home starts. No sense going on much further. The guy needs a good start tonight and is on the spot here as the O's have some rotation decisions coming. Right-hander Drew Hutchison starts for Toronto. He is 4-4 with a 3.96 ERA over 13 starts. He is 3-1 with a 2.03 ERA in eight road starts, which is much better than his 8.72 ERA at home. Twice this year, Hutchison has gone six innings against the Orioles. He did not allow a run on April 12 and gave up two on April 24. The Orioles are 26-9 (.743) when they score four runs or more and 8-22 (.267) when scoring three or fewer runs.
