"Orioles Classics" rewind: Oriole Park Classics Game No. 4

Did you enjoy your three live Orioles spring training games on MASN this past week? I hope so, because our next televised game is a week from today on March 19, when the Birds welcome the Tigers to Ed Smith Stadium at 1 p.m.

I know a week is a long way away, but have no fear, we've got quite a lineup of "Orioles Classics" on tap for you to fill the space between spring training games.

The week, of course, kicks off with the No. 4 game on our countdown of the greatest games at Oriole Park. This week's game is appropriate with opening day right around the corner.

Here's the rundown for the rest of the week:

Monday, March 13, 11:30 p.m. - The Orioles won their second World Series title in 1970 by beating the Reds 4-1 in the best-of-seven series. Watch the Orioles clinch the championship with a 9-3 win in Game 5 of the Fall Classic on Oct. 15 at Memorial Stadium.

Tuesday, March 14, 9 a.m. - On April 25, 2015, the Red Sox were able to tie a game in the ninth inning and then take the lead in the 10th at Camden Yards. But after Adam Jones scored on a sac fly to tie the game again, David Lough gave the Orioles a 5-4 victory with a walk-off home run.

Tuesday, March 14, 7 p.m. - Later in the 2015 season, the Orioles welcomed Nick Markakis back to Baltimore as a member of the Braves. The Baltimore faithful gave Markakis a standing ovation before he stepped in the batter's box for the first time as a visitor, and then in the 11th inning, Matt Wieters gave them a 2-1 victory with a walk-off home run.

Wednesday, March 15, 12:30 p.m. - Henry Urrutia's first career home run was a clutch one. On Aug. 19, 2015, Urrutia launched a walk-off home run in the ninth inning to give the Orioles a 5-4 win over the Mets, becoming the first O's player since 1990 to have his first homer be a walk-off.

Thursday, March 16, 9 a.m. - The Orioles unleashed an absolute onslaught on the Athletics on Aug. 16, 2015. They used a 26-hit attack to rout the A's 18-2 at Camden Yards. Jones went deep twice, Gerardo Parra enjoyed a 5-for-6 day and Caleb Joseph recorded four RBIs, which of course is four more than ... actually. never mind.

Thursday, March 16, 7 p.m. - With opening day 22 days away, let's take a look back to last year's opener, when the rain didn't damper the celebration of the new season as Wieters deliverd a walk-off 3-2 win over the Twins.

Friday, March 17, 11 a.m. - Mark Trumbo had a big first year in Baltimore last season, leading the major leagues with 47 home runs. On April 15, Trumbo hit two of those bombs to become the first player in Orioles history to hit two home runs in one inning. Jonathan Schoop also hit two homers and Nolan Reimold added another longshot as the Birds used a nine-run seventh inning to beat the Rangers 11-5.

Saturday, March 18, 11:30 p.m. - En route winning their third world championship, the Orioles had to get past the White Sox in the 1983 American League Championship Series. After a scoreless nine innings, the Birds finally advanced to the World Series with a three-run 10th inning to seal the AL pennant with a 3-0 win in Game 4.
