Orioles lineup against Braves (and notes)

The Orioles will try and avoid a sweep at the hands of the Braves today and end interleague play on a positive note. For those of you hoping to see Nolan Reimold in the lineup, you didn't get your wish, but Mark Reynolds slides into the cleanup spot. For the Orioles: SS J.J. In his last 22 games, Reynolds is batting .328 (23-for-68) with four doubles, eight homers and 14 RBIs. He's also walked 18 times in those 22 games. In the last 18 games since June 12, Orioles starters have completed seven innings just once (Jeremy Guthrie on July 1) and have compiled a 6.63 ERA in 92.1 innings. The starters are 2-6 with a 8.27 ERA in the last eight games. The bullpen has registered a 2.54 ERA in 46 innings over the last 12 games since June 18). Koji Uehara ranks second among American League relievers with a 6.9 strikeout-to-walk ratio and is fifth in strikeouts per nine innings at 11.68. Britton's .600 batting average (3-for-5) is the fourth-highest for an American League pitcher behind Cleveland's Josh Tomlin (1.000, 2-for-2), Los Angeles' Tyler Chatwood (.667, 2-for-3) and teammate Chris Jakubauskas (.667, 2-for-3).
