Orioles lineup and Hendrickson note (and pitching note)

SARASOTA, Fla. - Nolan Reimold is starting in right field for the Orioles in today's game against the Philadelphia Phillies at Ed Smith Stadium. Nate McLouth is starting in left field. Maybe they'll change positions every inning. For the Orioles: Nate McLouth LF Brian Roberts 2B Chris Davis 1B Adam Jones CF Matt Wieters C J.J. Hardy SS Nolan Reimold RF Manny Machado 3B Steve Pearce DH Wei-Yin Chen LHP Mark Hendrickson is back in camp after leaving the team earlier this week for the birth of his daughter, Sophia Joy, in York, Pa. Hendrickson didn't arrive in time for the delivery, but he received a picture from his wife of their new baby as he stood in line to board his flight out of Tampa. "I caught a 6 a.m. flight. I didn't make it back in time," he said. "I was actually standing in line at the airport with Wi-fi while she was in the delivery room. "I think she was upset and I was a little upset, but when I got there, it was probably the right way. When I walked in, it was just her and I and the baby. It was a good time." Hendrickson's mother-in-law and oldest daughter kept him posted via text messages. You've got to love social media. "We knew going in there was a chance I wasn't going to make it, because I was scheduled to pitch Wednesday," he said. "I was kind of like, 'Oh gosh, what do I do?' It worked out. "I was in line at Southwest and kept the volume down, because I was like, all right, I'm sure she doesn't want people to see what's going on. All of a sudden, I get on the plane and the Wi-fi doesn't work and I get a picture of mommy and baby. I was like, all right, that's a cool photo." Hendrickson now has three daughters. "I wouldn't have it any other way," he said. "What's cool about this is a lot of guys have babies on this team and it brings us closer. I was even more excited because Diana Roberts told my wife that Brian, once he saw the pictures, was so excited for his baby. And that's kind of neat. I think it brings us closer together as men, just because we're kind of going through the same stuff. So, that's pretty cool." Hendrickson hasn't pitched since March 15. He threw a side session on Sunday, played catch here on Tuesday and played catch at home on Thursday. Note: Brian Matusz is now scheduled to face the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday in Bradenton, with Chris Tillman pitching at Twin Lakes Park against Orioles minor league hitters. Originally, Matusz was supposed to pitch at Twin Lakes Park and Tillman was going to start against the Pirates.
