Today's matchup with the Blue Jays starting a left-hander is keeping Chris Davis out of the lineup.

Trey Mancini is playing first base and Anthony Santander is in right field.

Steve Wilkerson is in left instead of Dwight Smith Jr. Hanser Alberto is leading off and playing third base.

Davis had an RBI single and two-run homer last night for his first multi-RBI game since May 10. He's 8-for-23 with two home runs in his last seven games.

Both home runs have been hit to left field.

Davis' .182 average is at its highest point since May 21.

Left-hander Clayton Richard is 1-4 with a 6.51 ERA and 1.634 WHIP in eight starts and he's averaging only 4.6 strikeouts per nine innings. But he's registered quality starts in back-to-back outings with three runs allowed in six innings.

Richard has faced the Orioles three times (two starts) in his career and surrendered nine earned runs (10 total) and 18 hits in 13 2/3 innings.

Pedro Severino is 2-for-3 with a double against Richard and he's catching today and batting fourth. Jonathan Villar is 0-for-7 with four strikeouts. He's batting fifth today.

Andrew Cashner tossed six scoreless innings on April 2 at Rogers Centre. He owns a 2.68 ERA and 1.282 WHIP in seven career starts versus the Blue Jays.
