Welcome back to "Out of the Park"! I hope all of Birdland enjoyed the holidays and new year!
While most of our area had a very mild holiday season, the Oriole Bird was excited to start the first week of 2016 with some light snow.
Did anyone else just see snowflakes falling?? â„ï¸ Happy first Monday of 2016! ☃

The Bird also later calculated that we are halfway to opening day, which MASN's Jim Hunter thought was very impressive.
@OrioleBird so you have a drivers license & a math degree ! very impressive !!!

Tuesday turned out to be a busy day in Birdland, which was both #NationalBirdDay and #NationalWhippedCreamDay, a holiday the Oriole Bird and pitcher Mike Wright celebrated respectively.
It's #NationalBirdDay! Fans who retweet are eligible to win my glorious Omoji. Make everyday Oriole Bird Day! pic.twitter.com/y9ncSfp2rH

No better way to celebrate #NationalWhippedCreamDay than remembering my debut and @SimplyAJ10 for making it tasty pic.twitter.com/kTQZbWGc7G

All the celebration had MASNsports.com's Roch Kubatko a little confused, but the Bird was able to help him compromise.
.@masnRoch What's gross about it? The combo is great! pic.twitter.com/1yO1yn2vgs

Well, sure, if you look at it this way... https://t.co/YYtAuwPbNv

The Bird wasn't the only one Roch chatted with this week, as he had some flashbacks to save situations at Camden Yards while at the gym.
@masnRoch lol when that song comes on at the gym I start practicing my jog in from the pen

My only thing is I think Roch missed a golden opportunity to use "For Those About to Roch," but perhaps he did so on purpose.
Adam Jones got in the tweeting spirit this week, tweeting good morning to a couple of his teammates. But no conversation was more entertaining than his with Chris Davis as we got a peek into their bromance.
@SimplyAJ10 Good afternoon to you kind sir

Jones and Davis embracing in the middle of a Texas desert is an image an Orioles fan would cherish, although maybe moreso if they were in the Orioles dugout.
But Jones wasn't done as he also expressed his interest in joining a podcast soon, a thought in which Darren O'Day chimed in.
@SimplyAJ10 we should start our own. We could definitely get @Oprah as our first guest. If she's busy, we could settle for @BillGates.

A Jones/O'Day podcast. Yet another thing Birdland would gobble up faster than the Oriole Bird can tweet.
