Postgame Showalter following 9-3 win

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - I'm racing out of here to drop off my rental car and catch my flight back to Baltimore, but I wanted to pass along a little postgame Buck Showalter for you. On Jake Arrieta: "He had great stuff early. Hopefully, he'll get to a point where he can kind of maximize his pitches a little bit more and get deeper. He had a great fastball today." On J.J. Hardy's grand slam: "You're going to need it against any club and especially here in their ballpark. There were a lot of big plays. I thought Matt's throw-out at second base stopped a lot of momentum. A lot of things. A lot of good at-bats put together. It was a good win for us." On the rotation turning in six straight quality starts: "It's what they're capable of, and I think the more they do it and the more that they see their teammates do it, they get a feel for the job expectations and the job description." I'll pass along quotes from Arrieta and Hardy once I'm at the airport or back home.

Arrieta was solid again today in O's win over Tamp...
A big day on offense as O's win series finale
