Reimold leading off again tonight (Wada quotes, Ripken note, Tampa final)

SARASOTA, Fla. - Nolan Reimold is batting first again tonight, as the Orioles host the Boston Red Sox in a split-squad game. Brian Roberts is batting second, and Nick Markakis is starting in right field after serving as the designated hitter in two games. Tsuyoshi Wada actually threw his bullpen session this morning. Apparently, everything was fine, but I'll get more information later today. Over in Tampa, Jake Arrieta was charged with three runs in 1 2/3 innings - two of them scoring after T.J McFarland replaced him. Arrieta allowed two hits and walked two. Update: Wada threw 25 pitches off a regular mound today and said he continues to feel stronger. He isn't certain about his next session, which could come on Friday. "Compared to Monday, I didn't force it, I didn't force it as much. It was more smooth. It felt good today," Wada said through his interpreter/athletic trainer, Seob Yoon. "My elbow and overall body-wise, conditioning-wise, I do feel stronger. As time goes by, I feel like I'm going to be able to swing my arms faster, too. Gradually, it's going to get better day by day." Wada also said he hasn't thrown a breaking ball yet. And he was more relaxed today, compared to Monday, because manager Buck Showalter and the media weren't watching him. "I was able to relax," he said, grinning. Note: Cal Ripken Jr. will visit Ed Smith Stadium and throw out the ceremonial first pitch before the March 7 game against the Toronto Blue Jays. Ripken also will sign copies of his new children's book, "Wild Pitch," on the lower concourse from 2-4 p.m. The visit is part of a national book tour for "Wild Pitch," the third installment in the New York Times best-selling "Cal Ripken, Jr.'s All-Stars" series. Redmond and Johnson each struck out three batters. Devin Jones was charged with three runs in the ninth. Branden Klein got the final out after allowing two inherited runners to score. The Yankees committed five errors.
