The Norfolk Tides announced today that the Baltimore Orioles will play an exhibition game at Harbor Park on Friday, March 31. Presented by BB&T, the game will feature the Orioles taking on the Tides, with first pitch scheduled for 3:05 p.m.
"We are thrilled to be hosting the Orioles again this season" said Tides general manager Joe Gregory. "We're proud to be an affiliate of an outstanding partner like the Orioles, and this event is another example of Baltimore's commitment to growing Orioles baseball in the Hampton Roads community."
"We are proud of our long-standing relationship with the Tides and the Norfolk community," said Orioles executive vice President of baseball operations Dan Duquette. "This game will not only help our club prepare for a successful season, but also provide our fans in southeastern Virginia with an opportunity to see Orioles stars of tomorrow play against our major league club."
Tickets for the event will go on sale to the general public on Saturday, March 4 at 10 a.m, with box seats available for $25 and reserved seats available for $22. Tides season ticket holders and corporate partners will receive notification regarding early ticket purchasing.
