Tomorrow's doubleheader postponed

Tomorrow's scheduled day-night doubleheader with the Yankees has been postponed due to expected bad weather related to the arrival of Hurricane Irene. The 1:05 p.m. game will be made up on Sept. 8 at a time to be determined. The nightcap will be played as part of a split-admission doubleheader at 7:35 p.m. on Sunday. Obviously, the first game Sunday will go off at the normal 1:35 p.m. time. Tickets dated Aug. 27 at 7:05 p.m. will only be accepted at the 7:35 p.m. game on Sunday. Tomorrow's originally scheduled 1:05 p.m. game is being moved for the second time. It was supposed to be played April 22. Tickets dated Aug. 27 at 1:05 p.m. or April 22 will be accepted only for the Sept. 8 game. Fans who can't attend the rescheduled games this weekend may exchange them for any remaining game during the 2011 season, subject to availability. Ticket exchanges must be completed by Sept. 28. Parking passes will be honored for the makeup games only and are non-transferable. Meanwhile, the Orioles are leading the Yankees 9-1 after Nolan Reimold's two-run triple in the bottom of the fifth. Reimold is 2-for-3 with a double, triple and three RBIs. A.J. Burnett allowed nine runs and nine hits in five innings, with two walks, five strikeouts, two home runs and three wild pitches. He threw 116 pitches, 71 for strikes. Update: MASN has been granted permission to broadcast both ends of Sunday's split doubleheader.
