Wada statement on surgery; Lindstrom could be headed to DL

While we wait for the Orioles to announce their 25-man and 40-man roster moves, here's a statement from pitcher Tsuyoshi Wada regarding today's ligament-reconstructive surgery on his left elbow, which was performed by Dr. Lewis Yocum in Los Angeles: "The procedure went as planned and Dr. Yocum felt good about how it went. He predicts a full recovery. I'm glad to have this over with and look forward to beginning my rehabilitation so I can get back to pitching for the Orioles as soon as possible." Wada won't be available for further comment until after he begins a rehab program in Sarasota. No date has been set. Here's the Rays' lineup: Zobrist RF Pena 1B Upton CF Scott DH Keppinger 3B Joyce LF Rodriguez SS Molina C Johnson 2B Hellickson RHP I would expect Scott to hear a few "Luuuuke" chants upon his return to Camden Yards. Not to be confused with the "Stuuuu" chants for Pomeranz. Update: It appears that reliever Matt Lindstrom is headed to the disabled list with a finger injury, though the Orioles haven't made an announcement. Lindstrom hadn't allowed an earned run in 13 innings before Game 2 last night, when he surrendered two (three runs total.) Lindstrom's removal from the 25-man roster would clear a spot for left-hander Dana Eveland.
