Waiting on Hunter move and note on Gausman

The Orioles will officially activate reliever Tommy Hunter before the start of today's game against the Athletics at Camden Yards. Manager Buck Showalter was waiting to talk to the player involved in the corresponding roster move. Hunter had two strikeouts and hit a batter last night at Single-A Delmarva. He threw 11 pitches, eight for strikes. "He's ready to go," Showalter said. The Shorebirds posted the lowest May ERA (2.11) of any full-season minor league team. "Tommy said he felt some pressure there last night," Showalter said. Also, Showalter confirmed that Kevin Gausman will start Thursday night's game against the Blue Jays at Camden Yards. Gausman held the A's to one run over seven innings last night. The starter he's replaced, Miguel Gonzalez, isn't eligible to come off the disabled list until June 15. Showalter stated previously that Gonzalez could start June 15, 16 or 17. The Orioles have made an error in four straight games, which hadn't occurred since May 4-10, 2012, when they committed errors in seven straight games. After committing a major league record-low 54 errors in 2013, the Orioles have made 32 errors in 60 games and are on pace for 86.
