Who wants to tailgate with Adam Jones?

I'm talking about the Orioles center fielder, not the NFL cornerback. Though, I must admit, partying with Pacman Jones in the parking lot before a football game would take tailgating to a much higher level. "Higher" being the key word here, but I digress. The Orioles' Adam Jones announced on Twitter this afternoon that he's hosting the first annual "Adam Jones #StayHungry Purple Tailgate!" More details are coming on Monday, but here's what we know: The gathering begins at 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 10 before the Ravens' game against the Cincinnati Bengals at M&T Bank Stadium. Tickets start at $40 and proceeds will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Metropolitan Baltimore. The last two tweets from Jones read as follows: "Look forward to seeing BMORE come hang out for a good cause, and who doesn't like tailgating and other wild things that may occur" "And know one thing if anything. The food is gonna be bangin." This is just the latest charitable endeavor from Jones, who's the Orioles' nominee for the prestigious Roberto Clemente Award. The winner will be announced during the World Series. The annual award recognizes a Major League Baseball player who best represents the game of baseball through positive contributions on and off the field, including sportsmanship and community involvement. Jones also was chosen to represent the Orioles for the Marvin Miller Man of the Year Award, but he didn't make the final cut.
