Well, that could have gone a lot better. The Orioles had lost just two home openers since 2001, but today they got crushed by the Toronto Blue Jays 12-5 in front of a sellout crowd of 45,936 at Camden Yards. This is the most runs the O's have allowed in a home opener since a 12-0 loss to Milwaukee in 1988. The Orioles fall to 2-2 for the season and to 41-21 all-time in home openers.
