Chef Rick Moonen introduces "Moon N' Doggie"

On Monday night, Nationals fans will have a unique opportunity to sample Chef Rick Moonen's new seafood creation. During the Nationals game against the Phillies, Moonen will unveil his "Moon N' Doggie" gourmet shrimp dog at Nationals Park.
The special will be sold in the Stars and Stripes Club and at the Red Porch during the final three games. The shrimp dog is served with Asian slaw and toga chips. Moonen will be signing autographs and meeting with fans throughout the entire series with the Phillies.
Moonen was the celebrity guest judge on Top Chef D.C. for the episode filmed at Nationals Park when contestants had to make high-end concession food. Moonen also appeared on Top Chef Masters.
In 2005, he opened his multi-level restaurant Rick Moonen's rm seafood at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. He's also a leading advocate for environmental policy and sustainable fishing practices.
