O's overcome the rain and the Yankees in 10-4 win

Derek Jeter's single in the third gave him 2,722 hits, as he broke the tie with Lou Gehrig atop the Yankees' all-time hits list. Alex Rodriguez hit a three-run homer in the first inning. In beating the team with the best record in the Majors, the O's snapped New York's seven-game home win streak. The Orioles won for the just the fifth time this year in 27 AL East road games.
