Orioles option Henry Urrutia

FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Orioles optioned outfielder Henry Urrutia to Triple-A Norfolk this morning, leaving 42 players in camp, including nine non-roster invitees.

Urrutia went 8-for-25 with two doubles, a home run, seven RBIs, three runs scored, three walks and two strikeouts in 15 games. He also showed improvement in the outfield.

Bud Norris is the confirmed starter for Sunday's game against the Cardinals in Sarasota. St. Louis is sending John Lackey to the mound.

Ubaldo Jimenez opposes former Orioles right-hander Radhames Liz in Tuesday's game against the Pirates in Bradenton.

A reminder that Monday is the only scheduled off-day of the spring. The complex will be closed. No one in the media is complaining about it.

Ryan Webb will pitch today for the first time since March 6 because of a sore left knee. Closer Zach Britton also made the trip.

Outfielder Alejandro De Aza returned to camp after receiving permission to leave the team on Wednesday to fly to the Dominican Republic for his grandfather's 99th birthday. His daughter was celebrating her 11th birthday on the same day.
