The Orioles' camp roster

The days continue to melt away before pitchers and catchers report to spring training. I'm actually counting down the hours now as I try to get my life in order before turning it upside down. The first workout for pitchers and catchers takes place Feb. 13. The first full-squad workout is three days later. Here's the list of non-roster invitees: Pitchers 68 Zach Braddock LHP 75 Kevin Gausman RHP 27 Mark Hendrickson LHP 54 Daniel McCutchen RHP 84 Eduardo Rodriguez LHP 61 Adam Russell RHP 55 Daniel Schlereth LHP 85 Mike Wright RHP Catchers 73 Allan de San Miguel 74 Jose Gil 60 Luis Martinez 63 Chris Robinson Infielders 45 Travis Ishikawa 69 Niuman Romero Outfielders 60 Chris Dickerson 51 Lew Ford 36 Conor Jackson 28 Steve Pearce 72 Jason Pridie Outfielder Trayvon Robinson also will make the list if he clears waivers. Here's the updated 40-man roster, which will be adjusted again if pitcher Jair Jurrjens passes his physical: Pitchers 34 Jake Arrieta RHP 38 Luis Ayala RHP 65 Mike Belfiore LHP 53 Zach Britton LHP 49 Dylan Bundy RHP 16 Wei-Yin Chen LHP 64 Zach Clark RHP 50 Miguel Gonzalez RHP 46 Jason Hammel RHP 29 Tommy Hunter RHP 43 Jim Johnson RHP 52 Steve Johnson RHP 17 Brian Matusz LHP 66 T.J. It may be easier to coax an autograph out of a player if you address him by name instead of yelling, "Hey 58!" Former Orioles center fielder Al Bumbry will be in camp as an instructor. Here's the complete list: 9 Brady Anderson 62 Rudy Arias 82 Blaine Beatty 14 Mike Bordick 79 Mike Boulanger 1 Al Bumbry 48 Terry Crowley 67 Ronnie Deck 83 Einar Diaz 76 Brian Graham 91 Mike Griffin 81 Jose Hernandez 86 Ron Johnson 78 Gary Kendall 80 Matt Martin 16 Scott McGregor 87 Rick Peterson 90 Don Werner I wrote previously that the Orioles had filled one of their four scheduled off days on March 29 with an exhibition game against a local college. They will play the State College of Florida at 2:05 p.m. at Ed Smith Stadium. The Orioles' last four games will be held in Sarasota, including back-to-back 7:05 p.m. starts against the New York Yankees on March 27 and the Tampa Bay Rays on March 28. They close against the New York Mets on March 30 at 12:05 p.m. The Mets actually requested the game. After that, we load up our rental cars and head to St. Petersburg, Fla., for workouts and the season opener against the Rays at Tropicana Field. Shameless plug alert: I'm joining Tom Davis for "Wall to Wall Baseball" from 11 a.m.-noon on MASN. I'm calling into Anita Marks' show on NBC Sports Radio at 1 p.m. to talk Orioles. And I'm joining Jim Hunter on "Hot Stove Baseball" from 1:30-3 p.m. on WBAL Radio. Our guests include executive vice president Dan Duquette and first baseman Chris Davis. Then I'm disappearing for the rest of the day and night.
